How do you enter an energy or protein crop when there is a margin round the outside of the field which is not eligible for the extra aid.

The crop code for the whole field is say EC8 or PR0 (or whatever energy/protein crop is) - however you enter a different area in the other aid box on the basic information screen from the usable area (remove the tick). The total useable are will be entered in C8 as eligible for SPS but only the smaller aid area will be shown in C12.
