It is not necessary to replicate the exact order of the fields on your form if you are submitting your details electronically. However, if you wish you can force the order of your fields on the printout by entering a sheet and line number against each field. The Field Data Sheet report will display them in column C1 - for farmers own use, along with field name and status. The program uses them to order the lines in the order that is required by user.
However the priority for ordering the lines on the Field Data Printouts is as follows:
. Region
. Holding Number
. FDP Sheet/FDP Line no - if they exist
. OS Map Ref
. OS Field Ref
. OS Field Part
Since each separate region, holding etc must be on separate sheets these details must take priority over the FDP sheet and line number. You do not have to enter sheet and line numbers yourself if you do not want to.
