How do I select a Homebred Heifer as a Dam?

In order to allocate a calving against a homebred heifer, she must first be transferred from Heifer Calves to Breeding Heifers:

• To enter an Animal Transfer Entry, choose 'Other' in the List Bar, then 'Transfers' and click on 'New' from the main screen toolbar.
• Enter the date and time.
• Choose the type of transfer from the drop down menu.
• Click on the 'Select Animals ' button and then choose the appropriate animal(s) from the list.
• Click in the small square box on the left of the details. A tick will appear in the box. (To deselect an animal, click again in the box on the left of its details and the tick will disappear.)
• Click on the 'OK' button.
• In the main data entry window, click on 'Save' to complete the entry.
