Backing up your Crop Manager Data
When backing up to your C:Drive, you will need to have some folders set up to backup into.
- (Outside the Crop Manager program)Go into 'My Computer'
- Double click on your 'Local Disk C:Drive'
- Click on 'File', then 'New', and 'Folder'.
- This will create a folder called 'New Folder'. Overtype this with 'Crop Manager backup'
- Double click on your folder, and then create 3 more folders, named 'A', 'B' and 'C'.
Now your folders are setup you are ready to backup.
- Go into Crop Manager, Click on 'File' and 'Backup Crop Manager Data'.
- Select you C:Drive. Often it will pick up a default location on your C:Drive so you will need to change the destination.
- On the right-hand side, double click on folder with C:\ next to it
- You will then see a list of folders on your C:drive. Double click on your 'Crop Manager backup' folder, then 'Folder A'.
- Click on 'Backup'.
Next time you backup you can choose 'Folder B', then 'Folder C', then use 'A' again, etc. so that if for some reason your backup failed, you always have a backup that is not too old .
This process can also be used for backing up to other sources like memory sticks/cards.
