Updating Field Prices

When you find incorrect values against some field operations or in reports, then you have probably changed the stock price after the field application has been entered.

To update the Field applications with the correct price:

  • Go into 'Stock Control'
  • Click on 'Actions'
  • Then click on 'Stock Management'
  • Highlight the relevant stock list that the product is in
  • Click on 'Next'
  • Check that the correct year is highlighted, then click 'Next'
  • Click 'Next' until you see the 'Balance Actual Recording Closing Stocks' screen
  • Those products highlighted in red have a difference between the field and stock prices.
  • If there are no products highlighted in red then you either have no updates to do or your products are set to Last Price. They need to be set to Rolling Average for the program to update the prices automatically.
  • If you wish to update all the products in red then click 'Next'
  • Then click 'All Products'
  • If you only want to update one product, highlight the product on the 'Balance Actual Recorded Closing Stocks' screen before clicking 'Next '
  • The product should then be in the green box, then click Update product.

This should have now updated your reports or field records with the correct price shown in your stock control.

Before you run a report click the 'Update Summary' button so that it shows green.
