Restoring Earnie Data

To restore a backup select the option to Restore Company Data. Either then type in the location of the backup or use the browse button to find the location. If you are asked if you want to restore formulae answer Yes.
- Go to the option 'File' and 'Backup/Restore'.
- Take the option to 'Restore Company Data'.
- Either enter the location of the backup in the white box or click in this box and select 'Browse' at the bottom of the screen to find the location of the backup.
- If the white box contains 'A://' you will see a message telling you to insert a disk. Click 'Cancel' if the backup is anywhere other than on a floppy disk.
- In the 'File Name' box (at the bottom of the 'Company Backup File' screen) you will see the backup name that you are looking for i.e. 0001DATA.zip or 0002DATA.zip depending on the number of companies you have. The number of the backup you are trying to restore must match.
- Once you have chosen the backup file to restore from, you will return to the 'Restore Location' screen. Click 'Restore'.
