Selecting new reports from the Report Library

Earnie has a very wide range of reports available. However many of them will not be applicable to your business. For example there are nearly 40 different layouts of payslips, of which you will only ever use one or 2 different ones.

To make it easier to find the reports that you require, you can select the particular ones that you need from the Report Library so that they appear in the normal reporting menus.

To select a new report

  • Go to Reports - Library Selection.
  • Select the option that you require i.e. Payslips or Multi Period Reports
  • Find the layout that you wish to use. Highlight it and click on 'Select'.
  • Click 'OK' to the message
  • Click 'Cancel' to exit the screen.

You will now find that the new report will be available within your normal reports. i.e. if you selected a new Payslip layout, it will be available when you go in to Reports - Payslips.

 

To delete a report that you do not require

  • Go in to Reports - Report Table
  • Click on the Full Description of the report you don't want
  • Click the 'Delete' button

It will no longer appear in the normal reporting option but will still be available in the Report Library if you need it again in the future.
