This is the number given to you by the Collector of Taxes Computerised Accounts Office. It is in the form 999PA99999 and often appears on your P30BC Payslip Booklet under 'Collection Reference'.
You enter it in Company menu - Company Options - Tax tab. The program will warn you if it is not in the correct format and will not allow you to continue with the save unless it is, however the program will not check the actual number for you.
If you do not know it for the time being leave this box blank. You will need to know it for the year end returns.
