Restoring Business (/Cash) Manager Data

You must have a backup to be able to restore the data into your Farmplan Business Manager.

 

Restoring Data

  • Go to File, Restore.
  • From here, on the left hand side you can select the media type of where the backup is held, ie, C:// drive, A://3.5" floppy, F://Flash card, zip disk etc.
  • Click on the '+' to the left of the drive to show the folders,
  • Click on the '+' next to the folder where the backup is held.
  • You will then see a blue 'fp' sign next to the business name of the dataset you wish to restore. For example: fp Court Farms backup. Highlight this.
  • Click on 'Restore Now' on the right hand side.

You can double check that it is the correct set of data to restore by the Backup Notes that are displayed. The program will also tell you when the backup was taken and ask you to confirm the details before you continue so that you can cancel if necessary.

You will then get a message to say that the Restore has been completed successfully.
