You can now allocate units, pack sizes and quantities to a product.
If you use pack sizes, then you can alter the total quantities on a despatch note or invoice, so that you can record what is actually despatched more accurately.
i.e. if, on average, there are 2Kg in a pack, then 5 packs should = 10kg
You can change this to 9.5 if some of the packs were not exactly 2kg
If pack sizes have been selected in Tools / Options and the product has also been set up with relevant packs, you will be asked to enter the number of packs rather than the total quantity which will now be calculated by the program.
The number of units in the Pack (Pack Size) can also be overwritten on the despatch note or invoice.
To use Packs:
- Click into Tools - Options
- Put a tick against Packs and Pack Sizes
- Click OK
- When setting up a Product, you will be able to tick the Option to use Packs.
- When entering that Product on an Order, Despatch Note or Invoice, you will be able to alter the pack sizes and therefore alter the total quantity being despatched or invoiced.
