Electronic tagging and scanning can help reduce manual processes, improve record accuracy and offer quicker and safer animal data collection.

Farmplan offer a complete EID solution from the electronic animal tags and tag reader through to integration with the Cattle Manager or Sheep Manager software for storing records.

• Download animal details from the software to the tag reader as well as any actions that you will be recording in the field
• Out on farm, you can scan the animal's tag and record births, weights, treatments, observations, TB test results etc. The reader stores these actions removing the need for paper lists
• The reader can automatically record details when linked to other devices such as electronic weighers and panel aerials
• When you are back in the office simply synchronise the reader with your Farmplan software and the data will be updated into the relevant records
