For customers that subscribe to support from Farmplan, there are frequent updates to help keep users ahead of changes to legislation and to provide consistent enhancement to the software.

Customers are encouraged to give us feedback on our programs and to request changes that they feel could improve the software.

Below are some of the major enhancements to this release of Property Manager. Full details can be found in Property Manager.

Summary of Enhancements - March 2007

Differing frequency from normal demand

A new rental period type of "recurring" has been added. This will ensure that 2 sequential dates in the same year are entered. These 2 dates will then be used on a year by year basis.

Sort by Dates

TClicking on the date heading on the front screen now sorts the entries in chronological order correctly

Scrolling And Holding Edited Record

If you have a scrolling button on your mouse you can now scroll through your list of Tenancies etc rather than having to use the side bar. When a record is edited and you return to the explorer screen, it stays on the same record rather than returning to the top of the list.

Property Analysis Report

We have continued to develop this option and it is now possible to select extra categories such as Tenancy Details, Financial Entries and Property notes

Exceptions Report

The exceptions report is now accessible directly from the Demands Screen. Any tenancy which has been highlighted as having a potential problem is listed in ‘Due Date’ order

Account Groups

It is now possible to allocate a 'default' export location to each account group in the option Setup - Account Groups.

This means that the program will automatically know which location to use when you export demands to be imported into the accounts. Therefore if your property manager data produces demands to be used with several sets of accounts data, you can ensure that each export file is kept separately

Exporting To Multiple Accounts - 'Users' Export

It will be possible to mass produce all export files to all of your accounts data in one go. With the 'users' option turned on it allows the user/agent to filter the data to just show the details of the landlords/properties/tenancies etc that they have responsibility for. This is particularly useful if several operators are accessing the data at the same time (multi-user access) and you have a large number of tenancies spread over a number of different landlords.
